There are a number of good reasons to incorporate a photobooth into your event. In addition to providing entertainment, it also can be a favor, and add so many event photos that you otherwise never would have.
During most social/family events, whether it’s a wedding, bar/bat mitzvah or quinceanera, there is that awkward time during the cocktail reception when the guest/guests of honor and family are away taking photos. This can be an especially uncomfortable time as the people that know everyone aren’t there, usually the DJ doesn’t start until the main reception and frequently there are people who don’t know anyone at the reception. This is the ideal time for a photo booth. Guests can get photos whether they are alone, as a couple or in a group. It’s also a great conversation starter. It breaks the ice and gets the party started.
Photo Booths are also great during the reception. Not everyone can… or should… dance, the guest/guests of honor are almost always engaged in some activity, and this gives them something to do.
Most hosts want to provide a favor for their guests, but deciding on one can be a difficult decision. It’s almost impossible to give each guest something personal that they will want to keep. That’s why pictures from the evening are such a great investment - you know they’re going to keep them!
One of the most overlooked aspects of having a photo booth is that this dramatically increases the number of event photos. So in addition to the formal photos, you’ll have a large assortment of wacky silly pictures of guests that otherwise would never have been available.
